It’s a Boy!

A picture is worth a thousand words:

We went to see The Nutcracker last night. My favorite part is the snowflakes, but for the first time, I was also enamored of the children queuing up to get gifts from Herr Silberhaus. I was thinking about how exciting it would be to have a child on stage (Did I mention that I love ballet?). Ballerinas are adorable, of course, but I also loved Billy Elliot.

you didn’t explain what those pictures are. without explanation, they’re pretty hard to figure out. hell, even *with* explanation they’re tough to decipher.

you also liked it when one of the little boys dropped his ball and it went rolling across the stage.

    Yeah, that was pretty cute.

Ok, so… The top one says, “It’s a boy” and has an arrow pointing to stinker’s little pee-pee. The bottom one is, like, a vertical slice through his face. I think that’s the brain and the eye sockets and mouth, but then again, it could be a Mandelbrot set or something.

i think he’s facing the camera. obviously the head’s the blob on the left, and i think the dark spots are the eye sockets. i still wish she had given us a profile view of his face instead
