Yeah, that is a problem. There is a way to switch out of combat mode (button B, I think) so you can see where you're running. Maybe if you did that for everyone in the party? Probably not, since the enemy would keep attacking and you other party members automatically engage. I have been fond of switching into solo mde and scouting with stealth on. There's also a saved game on the OXM disc this month that suuposedly has super-poerful characters are the beginning of the game. I haven't had a chance to play with it yet, however.

I hate the issue having to do with trying to evade in combat. Four specific issues:

1.You have to turn your back to the enemy;
2.If you are "engaged" with an enemy it always keeps your view with the enemy, so you mine as well be running blindly backwards;
3.If you decide to avoid combat and you are not in solo mode, your party will still attack; and
4.If you decide to run and you are in combat, your party will continue to fight.

I think that there should be an abort attack, and that if you the leader aborts, the option should pop up if you want the rest of your party to abort. Then, if you all abort they should follow the leader to regroup.
